You may book your stay on this site for reduced cost or on AirBNB.com, VRBO.com or Expedia.com.

A full refund is provided if cancelled at least 30 days from your stay.

A 50% refund is provided if 15-29 days from your stay.

Within 14 days we do not offer any refund.

The Willow River State Park main entrance is only 1 mile away.

A WI State Park pass is required and can be purchased there.

You can access a mostly private park area directly behind our house without a pass.

Hudson has an amazing amount of quality restaurants.

Carbone’s Pizzeria and Saloon is within walking distance (about 1/2 mile).

5-6 minutes away Hudson has most everything from fast food to great bars. We recommend Milwaukee Burger for a burger and great beer tap selection.

8-10 minutes away Downtown Hudson has plenty of spots. Our favorite is Pier 500 with excellent food and great views.

Each of the 2 living areas features large, comfy couches and a smart TV.

We typically leave services like Netflix, Disney+ and Paramount logged in. Feel free to use them.

Absolutely! The lower level living area has its’ own large sofa and smart TV.

There is a large library for all ages.

There are about 100 games/puzzles and a game table.

The lower level bunk bed room has 4 queen beds and kids love it.

Yes, Wifi is free of charge. 

There is a login code on the kitchen counter.

Prior to your arrival you will be provided an access code.

We use Yale digital locks and they’ve worked very well.

There are 2 king and 6 queen beds.

All mattresses are high-quality and likely better than other places you’ve stayed.

Bedding is also high-quality and mostly (except the main level king) down-alternative to avoid allergies.

All laundry is washed with All Free & Clear.

Yes, there is a full kitchen on the main level. 

The kitchen is stocked with tableware, silverware and cooking ware such as knives, pots, pans, etc.

Condiments, salt and pepper, oil and more are also stocked.

There’s a full coffee bar including coffee (provided), sugars, creamers and a Nespresso espresso machine (bring your own pods).

Yes, we have a Weber gas grill available on the deck.

There are 2 propane tanks on site in case one runs out.

Grill cookware is provided.

There is room for 1-4 cars by the house and many more on the driveway leading up to it.

Absolutely! Fishing is available on the property via a short 2-5 minute walk out the back into the semi-private acreage.

There are groomed trails leading to a couple nice fishing holes on the Willow River.

A Wisconsin license is required.

Trout is the most common.

Gear is not supplied.

Yes, there is a bonfire.

Wood, lighter, S’more sticks and Adirondack chairs are supplied.

Precut wood is located behind the house in a covered rack.

The bonfire overlooks into Willow River State Park.

All sorts of wildlife have been seen on site. The most common are deer, turkeys and rabbits. 

You’ll often see them while at the bonfire or walking the expansive land.

Our actual acreage is about 3+ but that doesn’t count the state land of another 30-40 acres which is mostly private.

The backyard has a trail/staircase into the mostly private state park area which features groomed trails, fishing holes and more.

Remember to respect nature and take your trash out with you.

Yes, laundry (washer and dryer) are available for free.

All Free & Clear detergent is provided at no cost.

Yes, we have 3 stand alone AC units on the main level; 1 in each bedroom and 1 in the main living area.

There are also 4 cooling fans available.

The lower level stays cool even on hot days.

There is a dehumidifier provided in case it gets too humid.
